Job Title : Full-Time Caregiver / Companion

Duration : 7 months per year (Permanent Position)

About the Position :

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated full-time caregiver / companion for a vibrant and healthy 90-year-old gentleman living in the Miami area.

This is a permanent position, but the role will primarily be for 7 months out of the year while he resides in Florida.

Key Responsibilities :

• Companionship : Engage in meaningful conversations, activities, and outings, especially related to his passion for art.
• Cooking : Prepare delicious and creative meals that adhere to a salt-restricted diet. The gentleman is a food enthusiast, so an interest in cooking and the ability to create varied and enjoyable meals is a significant plus.
• Household Management : Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
• Health Monitoring : Keep track of any health changes and ensure medication is taken as prescribed.
• Family Interaction : Coordinate with the family during their visits and provide updates on the gentleman's well-being.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Cooking Skills : Ability to prepare diverse and creative meals within dietary restrictions.
• Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in stimulating and enjoyable interactions.
• Compassion : Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for the elderly.
• Physical Ability : Capability to assist with mobility and daily tasks as needed.
