Mature and Highly Experienced Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Brooklyn, NY

A Brooklyn family is seeking a mature, highly experienced, and organized Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience, with extensive knowledge in caring for newborns and school-aged children. The family has one 7-year-old boy and plans to expand their family soon. They require a candidate who is comfortable traveling with them for 1-2 weeks at a time, with all travel expenses covered.

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Work Schedule:

• Number of hours each week, schedule, and days worked can be flexible for the right candidate

Ideal for schedule for the Client but again FLEXIBLE for the right candidate and experience:

• Approximately 25 hours per week
• Primary Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4-8pm
• Flexibility required for certain days

Compensation:

• $30-35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• School pick-up (school is 2 blocks away)
• Escorting the child to after-school activities and the playground
• Assisting with groceries and meal preparation
• Performing light housekeeping duties
• Running errands, including dry cleaning drop-offs
• Comfortable being around the family's golden doodle dog

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in both Spanish and English is prefered but not required (parents are bilingual and are teaching their son Spanish as well)
• Positive, honest, and respectful, especially with boundaries
• Comfortable holding ground with a highly intelligent and strong-willed child
• Creative mindset is a plus
• Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Honest and loyal
• Comfortable around pets, specifically their golden doodle
• Extensive experience with newborns and school-aged children
• Must be very private and confidential
