Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Occupancy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, property management, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations
- Conduct property viewings and assist with the leasing process
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information and rental payments
- Oversee property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
- Utilize OneSite or Yardi software for property management tasks
- Assist in marketing and sales efforts to maximize occupancy rates
Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalence required. Associate Degree in Public Service or Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred. Two (2) years’ experience in the housing or social services field desirable.
The following Certifications must be obtained within one (1) year of employment or other allowable period of hire as authorized by the Executive Director or his/her designee:

§ Enterprise Income Verification System
§ Fair Housing
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
1. Ability to learn federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations and Agency policies
2. Working knowledge of interviewing techniques and record maintenance.
3. Ability to understand and follow moderately complex written and oral instructions and be able to communicate and relate to persons of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
4. Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with the public.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.87 - $20.62 per hour
