Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual Teacher (Spanish) at Briargrove Elementary School (Houston ISD) located in Houston, TX. The Bilingual Teacher (Spanish) will be responsible for providing instruction to students, Pre-Kindergarten to 5th Grade, in both English and Spanish, ensuring that they develop proficiency in both languages. The Bilingual Teacher (Spanish) will collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment and will assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Texas teaching certification
• Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish languages
• Experience teaching bilingual students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Passion for working with diverse student populations
• Experience with basic technology such as, Word and computer applications
