Hover Senior Living Community is Hiring a Scheduler - Small skilled Nursing Near Longmont, CO

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and organized Scheduler to join our team at Katherine & Charles Hover GreenHouses! Built in 2019, our GreenHouses are small homes that provide long term care skilled nursing services for up to 12 residents per home (4 homes/48 residents).

The Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage for all shifts, and communicating scheduling changes to employees in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain staff schedules for nursing, caregivers, and other support staff based on facility needs and employee availability
- Ensure proper coverage for all shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in patient needs, staff availability, or unexpected absences
- Communicate scheduling changes to staff members promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate with managers and supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Collaborate with HR department to onboard new hires and train them on scheduling procedures
- Monitor overtime hours and make adjustments to minimize costs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, time off requests, and relevant communication
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to scheduling and overtime

Qualifications:
- CNA License - Required
- Proven experience as a Scheduler or similar role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations regarding scheduling and overtime
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules as needed
