Howard Energy Partners is Hiring a Terminal Operator III Near Port Arthur, TX

Duties/Responsibilities:

Safely loads and unloads vessels, barges, rail cars and trucks.
Inventory: Must be able to convert gross gauge numbers to net using API, temperature and VCF.
Transloading: Truck to truck, railcar to truck, and truck to railcar.
Able to gauge tanks, railcars and trucks.
Performs regular inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
Safely operates moveable equipment to load and unload materials and supplies.
Performs other job-related duties as training allows and assigned by supervisor.
Cleans job site, ensures all equipment, tools and materials are returned to proper place.
Dockman: Receive 48 hours of training required by the USCG to become Dock PIC.
Proficient in terminal operating management systems.
Participate in facility commissioning when required
Proficient in P&ID review
Participate in PHA's, PSSR's, Design reviews, P&ID reviews, etc...
General working knowledge of JSA's, general work permits, Hot work permits.
Ability to perform facility Log sheets, and round sheets

Ability to train new operators.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred.
General knowledge of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading rack, and dock facility preferred.
Experience in leading others.
Experience trouble shooting various issues with terminal operations.
3 Experience in Dearrnan DCS controls or similar controls
General knowledge of terminal reporting and V&P
