Summary:
HHMI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Operations Business Analyst to support the administrative operations of its legal department, the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), and ensure that the department functions effectively in support of HHMI’s mission, values, and operational and programmatic objectives.
The Legal Operations Business Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing OGC business processes and implementing improvements to operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams to support operational objectives and technical solutions that OGC and others in HHMI rely on. The ideal candidate stays informed about industry best practices and emerging trends and is eager to learn new things and apply knowledge to identify opportunities and aid in designing and implementing solutions.
The Legal Operations Business Analyst works closely with and reports to the Director, Legal Operations. The person in this role will report to HHMI’s headquarters in Chevy Chase, Maryland, three days a week.

$87,807.20 (minimum) - $109,759.00 (midpoint) - $142,686.70 (maximum)

HHMI’s salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data. HHMI considers a candidate's education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers. Typically, a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range.
