We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant specializing in Financial Reporting to join a dynamic finance team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the implementation and adoption of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation and filing of external financial reports, including SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of developments in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
- 2 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, preferably in a public company or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
