BECOMING ONE OF OUR ASSISTANT YOUTH CARE PROGRAM MANAGER

This full-time social work position requires flexibility . While the specific schedule may vary, the role includes on-call responsibilities as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our residential care programs.

You will start your day with shift planning, ensuring all Youth Care Workers are prepared for their duties in line with CARE principles. Throughout the day, you will coach and support your team, providing crucial decision-making assistance. You will oversee the documentation and compliance of Medicaid requirements, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. As you build trust and strong relationships with your staff, peers, and stakeholders, you will facilitate continuous communication within the residential team, including therapists, recreational, and administrative staff. Your day will involve participating in treatment planning, addressing behavioral management issues, and reviewing incidents to develop strategies for improvement. You will also be responsible for maintaining a hygienic environment, submitting maintenance requests, and assisting in budget management.

THE TYPE OF ASSISTANT YOUTH CARE PROGRAM MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Illinois driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to direct services that respect the cultural backgrounds, heritage, and identities of the clients
  • Commitment to the CARE and TCI principles, including completion of required training
