Description:
As the Retail Marketing Omnichannel Retail Print and Supplies Lead you will define the in-store omnichannel comms and customer experience vision for NA retail. Responsibilities include growing and maximizing HP Brand Presence across all retail touchpoints in-store and across HP's complete Print HW, Supplies and Services Consumer Product Portfolio. You will specifically be managing how our products show up in store across all NA retailers. This will include planning, creative development, production, and measurement of stores merchandising across all NA Retail Partners. This position is on HP's North America Retail Marketing team and will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders across HP Cross-Functional Teams (Retail Marketing Managers, Account Project Managers, Route-to-Market, Brand Marketing, Product Development, Shopper Insights, Creative Agencies, Production Agencies, etc.). Core Responsibilities:
- Develop overall NA Retail Print Merchandising strategy for new and existing Print HW and Supplies products.
- Drive consistent Category Leading Brand Presentation with NA Retail Partners.
- Oversee creative development, production, and measurement of merchandising (Stores: inline signage, end caps, shelf signs, shippers, standees, and more) that supports the Account Marketing Plans as defined by the Retail Marketing Manager and executed by the Account Project Managers.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with key HP internal and external partners (HP Marketing Teams, Retail Marketing Managers, Account Project Managers, creative agencies, fulfilment agencies, insights agencies).
- Launch new products and perform branding and content refreshes across brick and mortar retailers.
- Ensure merchandising is on-brand and on-message (images, headlines, copy, bullets) and follows merchandising best practices.
- Facilitate Creative Design Reviews with key stakeholders in WW and Region Marketing.
- Mobilize merchandising to positively impact sales, profitability, and customer experience.
- Define KPIs to measure productivity of merchandising tactics and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Identify ways to elevate the customer experience within each retailer.
- Create impactful presentations to showcase merchandising execution and brand presentation and deliver fact-based recommendations.
- Manage retail merchandising budget with Retail Manager and agencies.
- Drive tight alignment with agency partners and ensure they are delivering on time, maintaining HP brand integrity, delivering innovative and best-in-class execution, and meeting HP's quality standards for service .
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights teams to optimize and pursue new trends and opportunities. Leverage consumer insights and A/B testing to drive creative content.
- Work with Account Retail Marketing Managers on analysis of Omnichannel merchandising programs (i.e. merchandising, brand stores) and lead analytics to determine ROI and optimization in partnership with Digital Business Development team.
- Perform retailer omnichannel merchandising competitive analysis and identify insights to actions to drive business growth and impact.
- Synthesize key data points and identify trends and recommend activities to maximize sales conversion and deliver an optimal customer experience.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with HP Retail Marketing Manager, Executives, and retail partners.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 7 years work experience in Retail
- High Tech or CPG Retail Marketing Background
- In-depth knowledge of Retail Marketing Strategic Planning and Activation/Promotion principles, practices, tactics, and tools
- Ability to identify the key business questions and insights in problem solving and designing programs to address growth opportunities.
- Deep understanding of shopper insights and actions
- Understanding of the customer shopper journey and various key touch points across shopping Environments
- Strong planning, organization, execution, and project management skills - detail-oriented.
- Passion for Retail and Industry Leading High-Tech Products and Services
- Passion for HP's Consumer Products Portfolio and Services across Printer and Supplies Categories
- Accomplished in Budget and Agency Management
- Stores merchandising content development, design, innovation
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management and functional disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
- Strong presentation and overall communications skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a bias for making data-driven decisions.
- Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguous or new situations with little guidance.
- Proficient in both Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience Required:
- BA or BS in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years work experience in eTail/Online Retail
- Consumer Marketing experience, CPG experience preferred.
- Experience in Retail Marketing across a wide portfolio and with Key Omnichannel and/or eCommerce Retailer
- Creative agency management, Channel marketing experience
