HQ Aero is currently recruiting for STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS in BRIDGEPORT, WV

Responsibilities :

As a Structures Technician, you will be required to :

• Remove / install aircraft components as required.
• Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.
• Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures and aircraft component repair.
• Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
• Inspect confined areas of airframe and assist in providing time estimates as required.
• Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements :

• Minimum of year of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
• Minimum of year of corporate / commercial jet experience.
• Completed Sheetmetal A / C Tech school or equivalent Training.
• Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status.
• Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Job Type :

• Full-time, Contract
• Contractor Lodging : MHI is offering a maximum of nights in a nearby hotel. Room and tax only will be paid. Technician is responsible for all other charges.
• Contract Wage : $, Tax- Reg hrs, $;O / T
• Per Diem : $ / day ( days max) Half Day $

Essential Job Functions

• Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Physical Demands : The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and / or climbing.
• Work Environment : Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
