Top Law Firm in Las Vegas office seeks to hire a junior associate (1-3 years of experience) to support its bankruptcy and creditor’s rights practice group in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be completing a judicial clerkship for a bankruptcy judge or have a minimum of one year of law firm experience either documenting or enforcing commercial loans for institutional clients. This may include experience with due diligence, UCC, debtor/creditor work, secured transactions, documentation and negotiation of sophisticated lending transactions, and broader bankruptcy experience, including familiarity with the bankruptcy court. We seek excellent research and writing skills; prior clerkship experience is a plus. Participating in our local community is part of our credo and is expected of our team members.

Our expected salary range for this position is $165,000-177,000, depending on experience. This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support bankruptcy cases.
- Utilize strong writing skills to draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Assist in negotiations and litigation processes related to bankruptcy cases.
- Apply legal administrative experience to support attorneys in case preparation and management.
- Stay updated on bankruptcy laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely legal advice.
