What We’re Looking For

As a B2B Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with assigned clients. You’ll need to develop and deeply understand their business needs, challenges, goals, and objectives, and work with them to develop customized solutions that drive adoption and performance results.

You’ll also need to be a skilled communicator (both written and verbal), adept at building rapport and trust with key decision-makers, as well as have a tech-savvy approach and knowledge to enhance client partnerships.

Success in this role requires strong strategic and analytic thinking, creativity, and a positive approach while maintaining the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Great planning and great execution, with unwavering focus and persistence in achieving agreed-upon results, must be a key part of your personality.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of HQ’s products, solutions, and services.
  • Develop and maintain trusted business relationships with key clients and stakeholders including meeting regularly with clients (in person whenever possible.)
  • Identify opportunities to expand our value and our revenue growth with clients through the development and execution of client growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Client Delivery & Success, Product, and Customer Support to ensure and improve client satisfaction and retention
  • Stay up-to-date on and develop subject matter expertise in corporate ground transportation and travel industry trends and best practices to inform and guide our clients and execute our client growth strategies
  • Drive adoption and growth of our solutions and services with client portfolio including development of adoption strategies and materials.
  • Provide training and support (both individually and in groups) to our clients on the use of our solutions and services.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay current on market/industry trends and share industry updates with clients on a regular basis.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients as needed, including meeting with them at client locations
  • Develop, prepare, and present business reviews (quarterly or monthly as appropriate) with clients to ensure key results are achieved and are shared with the Client
  • Demonstrate ownership, commitment, and accountability to our clients, to HQ, and our organizational goals
  • Utilize appropriate technological resources (G-suite, Confluence, Jira, Trello, Zoho CRM, Hubspot) to further individual productivity and enhance communication among our team and clients

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of enterprise experience, preferably in an account management, sales, or consultancy role with a B2B SaaS solution company.
  • Located at or easy-to-travel distance from NYC.
  • Proven track record of developing and meeting goals, with special emphasis on those with a related client expansion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted, professional, long-term client relationships
  • Tech-savvy and data-oriented person who is able to create professional and easy-to-follow processes, reports, and analytics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both at client sites and remotely.
  • Willingness to meet regularly at client locations and travel occasionally as opportunities and needs arise.
  • Positive personality, “go-getter” approach, and a team player
  • Ultimately, a strong ability to grow and maintain long-term client relationships results in increased revenue growth and retention for HQ by providing ever-increasing value to our clients.
