Our well-established and growing Financial Services client in Carlsbad, CA is seeking to add a New Business Specialist to their Team! The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the industry long-term and contribute to the growth of our business.

This position requires that you possess the following skills:

• Knowledge of Redtail CRM, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Microsoft Word Processing software

• Ability to prioritize projects and manage time

• Savvy customer service to include excellent communication both verbal and written

• Strong follow-through

• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, proactive and resourceful

• Reliable with exceptional work ethic

• Flexibility to contribute as part of a team as well as independently

• Ability to demonstrate persistence to achieve quality

• Good-natured, positive attitude

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of Administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment

• Financial Industry experience preferred, but not required

• Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite

• RedTail CRM experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities Include:

• Complete & process new client applications and supportive paperwork & order life and long-term insurance exams as needed

• Complete service requests pertaining to onboarding needs

• Coordinate with prospects/client to obtain signatures, needed information, and provide weekly status updates

• Follow-through with correspondences inside and outside of the company

• Input detailed notes into RedTail CRM, and keep updated with client’s current information and supporting documents

• Update internal business trackers as needed

• Follow-up on delivery requirements and notify team members
