Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business and guest services. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality/office management and possess excellent guest relations skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the front office runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage the workflow of the front office to maintain a high level of performance.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by training and supervising front staff.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of room inventory and availability.
  • Coordinate with front office team and maintenance to ensure business/facility is clean and well-maintained.
  • Oversee the night audit process to reconcile daily transactions.

Job Scope and Duties:

1. Oversee Daily Operations:

- Ensure the front office runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Monitor and manage the workflow of the front desk to maintain a high level of performance.

2. Guest Services:

- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.

- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

3. Staff Management:

- Train and supervise front office staff, ensuring they meet performance standards.

- Schedule and oversee staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

4. Financial Transactions:

- Handle billing and financial transactions accurately.

- Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.

5. Organization and Cleanliness:

- Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

- Implement and maintain organizational systems to improve efficiency.

6. On-Call Duties:

- Be on call weekly to address any emergencies or issues that arise during/outside of normal business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a front office or similar managerial role.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management practices and business operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Proficiency in handling financial transactions and billing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including being on call.
