Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and routines
- Provide direct care and support to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist with crisis management situations, ensuring the safety of patients and staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation practices
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices
- Ability to effectively manage crisis situations in a calm and professional manner
- Strong data collection and record-keeping skills
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Basic understanding of inhalation medications administration
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care
