Job Summary:
The Patient Care Tech at HR Employer Solutions Group will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care and support to our healthcare clients in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time individual contributor role with a salary of $15 to $17 per hour, paid weekly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a strong desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily patient care activities, including but not limited to bathing, feeding, and monitoring vitals
- Help patients with mobility and transferring as needed
- Collect and record patient information, such as vital signs and symptoms
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Restock and replenish medical supplies and equipment
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
