Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced leader to fill the role of Assistant Plant Production Manager and join our dynamic team contributing to our continued success. After a period of training, the Assistant Plant Production Manager will support the Plant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Production Facility. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

· Assists with supervision of Department Leads, following and enforcing all company policies, OSHA requirements and related safety rules.

· Assists in overseeing daily production of all jobs and staffing.

· Performs planning by reviewing all job orders and purchase orders received.

· Follows ISO9001:2015/AS9100D procedures.

· Interacts professionally with employees, customers, and vendors.

· Interprets specifications and job orders to employees and may assign duties.

· Communicates with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.

· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

· Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety, and efficiency of shop, department, or team members.

· Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.

· Approves time records and production records. Reviews and approves documents weekly for job-costing and time-keeping approvals.

· Completes performance reviews timely.

· Attends various leadership training as requested.

· Various reporting as requested and other work as assigned.

If you have one to three years of related experience and/or training, a two or four year degree, or an acceptable combination of both; this may be the opportunity for you! Long term advancement possibilities. Engineering experience is a plus.
