Data Entry Specialist – Des Plaines, IL
$45,000 - $50,000/Annually (plus full health benefits)
We are a global logistics company looking for a Data Entry Specialist to add to our team. In this role, your main responsibility will be to support our continuous growth and stabilize the operations. You will ensure correct documentation of all our operational files to maintain our high standard of data quality. You will also be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, report generation, and record keeping. There will also be direct communication with other departments in-person, by phone, and by email to resolve documentation issues.
Duties included but not limited to:

• Input data into an inventory tracking system and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on a computer system
• Retrieve documents from file documents, associate documents with existing files
• Develop and maintain data standards, procedures, and training documents as required
• Recommend creative approaches to visualizing association data and data use
• Work with our billing and quality department to organize the workflow of data entry
• Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and standards
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent typing skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate efficiently
• Ability to maintain detailed records and to compile reports
• Capacity to verify documents and forms for accuracy and completeness
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
