Impact XM is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Creative team. An Impact XM Graphic Designer is a creative problem solver and visual communicator who works as part of a dynamic team of 3D and digital designers to create impactful experiences both live and virtual. Graphic Designers must have strong communication skills and be able to work conceptually with working knowledge of print and digital deliverables. Environmental design experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities as outlined in this Job Description may be changed from time to time by the Corporation, as it deems necessary, without further notice to the Employee.
  • Develop visual communications and conceptual themes for existing clients, new business, and internal clients.
  • Able to follow and adhere to internal and external client brand guidelines and direction.
  • Create compelling and impactful visuals to support storytelling and overarching messaging
  • Working knowledge of print and digital media production and processes
  • Able to understand project requirements and client asks as well as understand project roles and responsibilities
  • Create visually strong and client-focused presentations for proposals and project communications
  • Remain current in design and industry trends
  • Have a strong work ethic and be able to meet deadlines
  • Effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with both internal and external clients and partners.
  • Maintain a high-level of organized and able to prioritize, track, and deliver multiple projects
  • Work efficiently while maintaining and sharing working and archival files for all projects.
Education and/or Experience
  • College diploma from four-year college in Graphic Arts or related discipline
  • Must have 4-6 years of design experience in an agency environment
  • Experience in experiential marketing industry is a strong asset
Computer Skills
  • Must have expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Adobe XD is a plus, but not required. Must have expert-level presentation skills in PowerPoint or Keynote as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to translate design languages from print/presentation into digital visual designs
  • Complete understanding of file preparation for graphic production
  • Ability to research illustrations, photographs, and text to plan presentation of material, product, or service
  • Identify materials and production methods for innovative graphic solutions
  • Must be passionate about working with people and be customer centric.
  • Experience in the event marketing or a creative solutions-based agency
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.
  • Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity.
  • Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate.
  • Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required.
