Our client is looking for a diligent staff accountant to join our client's accounting department. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, fixed asset maintenance, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations. Your responsibilities will also cover various aspects of internal and external reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close processes.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests both internal and external.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required.
