HRC International is Hiring a Business Development Specialist - Country Clubs Near Alpharetta, GA

As a Business Development Specialist, your primary focus will be to expand our network at key accounts throughout the USA, which will be integral in the optimization and business growth of our company. Your responsibility will also include educating hosts on the J1 Visa regulations and persuading them to host J1 exchange visitors on site. 

To flourish in this role, you must have a solid sales background. The successful candidate will be expected to execute and monitor an individual sales plan effectively as part of HRC's overall sales strategy. We are searching for an ideal candidate who enjoys the thrill of the "hunt" and is experienced in inside sales. Generating leads, identifying the right people, and cold-calling prospects will be your core strengths.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients using CRM software.
  2. Execute an effective business development generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and social media channels. 
  3. Establish a business relationship with key contacts at the new hosts and identify upsells 
  4. Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present relevant solutions. 
  5. Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business 
  6. Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships is crucial. Specialists actively create networking opportunities, identify new clients, and strengthen industry partnerships. 
  7. Detect market and industry trends and stay abreast of industry development 
  8. Strong understanding of company services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive 
  9. Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue. This involves liaising with sales, marketing, and management teams to align strategies aimed at increasing overall revenue. 
  10. Secure J1 training agreements with new hosts that comply with all J-1 visa regulations 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Proven working experience as a business development specialist or a relevant role 
  • Proven sales track record 
  • Experience in customer support is a plus 
  • Proven experience in telephone/video call sales 
  • Ability to build rapport 
  • Time management and planning skills 
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise 
  • Experience selling a "service" versus a "product” 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven organization 
  • Hospitality experience to include Hotels, restaurants, country clubs is required

Desired requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • 2 years of proven sales experience in business or a related area 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely 
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities 
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments 

Full-time on-site role reports to the Director 

$50,000 base salary/40 hours per week 

Monthly, quarterly and yearly incentives if team goals are meet 

13 days of Personal Time Off during the 12 months 

7 paid holidays during the 12 months 

$400 person reimbursement after 90 days 

IRA Plan offered after 90 days with HRC 3% match 

Work Remote one day after 6 months based on performance
