OVERVIEW: This Project Manager/Project Architect is comfortable managing all phases of a large Telecom project. Working hand-in-hand with our Principals, they will direct, control and monitor all project activities local to their region -- please note, this job will require several PMs in the Southeast US region (notably NC, SC, Georgia and Florida). This role will provide you the opportunity to gain experience in every stage of a project including:

• Becoming familiar with the assigned project or projects & telecom's supplier contract information.
• Preparing agenda and leading initial and recurring project meetings.
• Preparing/distributing meeting minutes/notes and status updates on regular and ad hoc basis.
• Developing and updating project schedules, budgets, and spending forecasts.
• Providing coordination with telecom company's internal client groups, facility occupants and suppliers.
• Representing telecom company in development of the project scope and review of project designs and construction activities.
• Reviewing and provide recommendations for project budgets and revisions, contracts, and invoices for approval by telecom personnel.
• Updating status review of projects and reviewing regularly with telecom's representative.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND:

• Graduate of a NAAB accredited 4 or 5 year architecture school
• 3 years of experience in the production of Telecom, Commercial, Public, Government projects is preferred but not required.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance-enhancing feedback of assigned team members.
• Coordinate with government agencies, utility companies, and resolve plan check and approval issues with the agencies.
• Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through
• Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to take initiative in response to direction with a flexible, open outlook
• Display willingness to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgement, support and explain reasoning for decisions.
