For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Role Profile Position: Production Technician Job Location: Pasadena, TX (Branham) Job Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Summary of the Role This position is typically responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing hoses. The role includes operation of machinery including testing high pressure hoses. Responsibilities Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures. Prepares and delivers vendor managed inventory items to customers as needed. Maintains 100% quality per Work Order/Job Sheet requirements. Operates basic mechanical equipment such as hand tools and measuring devices. Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements Maintains productivity standards Perform all tests specified by the attached “Test Certificates” as specified in the Work Order Ensure all testing equipment (pressure Gauges) are calibrated before each use Submit all completed work to finishing department Maintain all shop locations in a neat, clean and orderly fashion Must sign off on In-Process Inspection Report. Stamp Assembly Certificate of Compliance if tested internally Assists with physical inventory Performs other related duties as required Skills and Abilities Possess excellent motivation to meet/exceed customer requirements Ability to read and understand Work Orders and Job Sheets. Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools. Ability to operate or learn to operate basic machinery as well as more advanced machinery such as all winding machines.
