For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Role Profile Position: Warehouse Specialist Job Location: Savannah, GA Job Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Day Shift, M-F Summary of the Role The Warehouse Specialist will manage all activities related to the functioning of the warehouse in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals. Responsibilities Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures. Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shipping Handles customer pickups Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements Assists with physical inventory Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval Maintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashion Properly keep designated stocking locations stocked as required Pull stock for all “Pick- Pack-Ship” orders for daily customers Provide correct parts and materials for daily production orders Performs other related duties as required Skills and Abilities Basic computer skills in MS Office, internet and email Experience working in ERP or Inventory system such as P21 a plus Self-starter Excellent attention to detail Applicants should possess the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner. Some leadership experience a plus. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
