HSC Medical Billing & Consulting LLC is currently seeking a Part-time Insurance Accounts Receivable Representative. We are looking for an individual who has experience in Medical Billing insurance accounts receivable, and payment posting. The successful individual for this role is detail-orientated with excellent verbal and written communication and has excellent time management skills. The successful candidate enjoys and can work in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers challenging assignments, a good salary and schedule flexibility.

Job Duties:
Payment Posting
Insurance Accounts Receivable
Follow up on unpaid medical insurance claims
Claim Denial management
Filing medical insurance appeals when appropriate
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of Medical Billing Insurance accounts receivable and/or Medical Billing office clerical administration experience
Experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payer guidelines
Possess the ability to read and interpret an EOB (explanation of benefits)
Ability to communicate with various medical insurance payers
Experience in filing claim appeals with medical insurance companies
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Possess excellent written, grammar and communication skills
Possess excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Respond timely to inquiries by medical insurance companies, patients and clients
Possess excellent follow-up skills ensuring timely follow up on accounts
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information at all times
Good attendance and punctuality
High school diploma or equivalent
