Performs various manual tasks to produce as many wooden ladders possible in the allotted time. These ladders are made into various sizes and are used in the packaging of innersprings.

Staple boards together using a pneumatic stapler to form ladders
Fasten boards together using a pneumatic nailing gun
Lift and place on a ladder rack. This process is completed over and over
Place tags on final ladder racks.
Move ladders to the packing department using a forklift

Additional Responsibilities:

Safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards.
Proper use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses and ear plugs are required).
Clean work area after each shift
Attendance. Being on the job daily is key to your success and the companies.
Your supervisor will have the authority to ask you to help with additional job assignments as needed.

Frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs.

High School diploma/GED helpful but not necessary

The ability to read a tape measure.
