Summary

This position is a Data Center Cable Tech. This is a new project and the team is building a brand new team for this project. Candidates must have a flexible work attitude.

Shift time is 7am - 3:30pm CST

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assembly and installation of servers, switches and cabling.
• Installation of support structures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling very specific wire labeling and grouping based on customer specs

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of copper (UTP, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) and fiber optic cable
• Understanding of data rack cabling standards and best practices.
• Terminating cable and distribution frames.
• Ability to read and interpret various types of build documents, schematics, and cable running lists.
• Safely operate various hand tools, maintain accurate inventory, and maintain safety standards
• Minimum five years of experience cabling complex data rack systems & min of 1 year wire labeling
• Able to lift 50 lbs. as needed

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.78 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• cabling complex data rack systems: 5 years (Required)
