HTI has an immediate opening for an experienced Plant Superintendent with a manufacturing facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This is a full-time, onsite, direct hire, salaried position. Relocation assistance is available, and the company offers comprehensive benefits. Salary range is approximately $95,000 - $110,000 / year, depending on experience and education.

Requirements:

• Must have 7 years industrial/manufacturing experience, with at least 4 years in an Operations Manager or Production Manager role.
• Experience managing a team of 2 salaried employees and 40 indirect employees.
• Experience managing and tracking production goals/KPI’s.
• Experience creating and implementing productivity/production plans.
• 5S experience.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent education; 2 or 4-year degree preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Manage the day-to-day operations for Production to deliver on key performance indicators (safety, quality, and production).
• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other departmental leaders to achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lead and implement process improvements to improve Safety, Quality, and Production.
• Ensure all production employees follow established policies and procedures.
• Establish/update 5S standards and ensure all 5S programs are being followed.
• Maintain quarterly documentation on supervisor performance and accountability.
• Model effective problem solving by identifying problems and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors to evaluate the risk of any non-standard work and the potential effects on production.
• Act as a liaison for communications between senior leadership and all employees.
• Ensure all supervisors execute required training plans for their direct reports.
