HTI is searching for an experienced Quality Engineer for an opportunity with a Tier-1 Automotive Supplier in the Charleston, SC area (Summerville, SC). Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 3 years Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ISO/TS 16949
• SAP experience is preferred
• ASQ Certification is preferred

Job Duties:

• Provide technical expertise in product development projects, design reviews, verification, and validation/manufacturability involving R&D, Product Group, Procurement, and Manufacturing
• Coordinate quality objectives with other internal departments and support them in achieving compliance
• Coordinate problem-solving efforts with respective personnel
• Determine and recommend necessary corrective actions
• Maintain practices consistent with ISO/TS 16949, as well as customer requirements and specifications
• Monitor customer portals
• Communicate all developments and potential issues to department managers
• Analyze final product and part assembly concerns
• Audit final product and parts to verify specifications and tolerances
