Job Posting: Certified Medical Assistant - Corrections
Location:
140 MACON WAY, Trousdale
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration:
13 weeks initial contract
Responsibilities:
Assist in providing medical care and treatment to inmates.
Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, administering medication, and preparing treatment rooms.
Document medical histories and update patient records.
Support healthcare staff and adhere to safety and health policies.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Experience in corrections or a similar setting is preferred, but not required.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
