About The JobThe Director of Implementation & Practice Optimization will play an instrumental role in the onboarding of physician practices onto our platform, as well as the development, deployment and implementation of practice performance strategies and tactics post-go live. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and executing against implementation and practice optimization playbooks that are scalable across the enterprise. You will onboard and manage physician practices across all markets, and be responsible for driving all activities for your portfolio of practices. As part of a lean startup team, we're looking for individuals who are self-starters, scrappy, can manage ambiguity, and are ready to grow within a hyper-growth organization. While this person will be an individual contributor to start, we would expect this candidate to help build and grow a team of associates over time. What You'll Do
Practice Optimization
Manage and be the main point of contact for a portfolio of pediatric practices
Create and facilitate a playbook of scalable action plans that improve practice's overall growth, efficiency and productivity–aligning with key performance metrics set forth by the the company
Develop practice optimization playbooks and processes from scratch
Develop presentation materials that facilitate the communication and dissemination of strategic and operational goals
Manage and track platform KPIs related to revenue cycle management, operations, clinical efficiency, productivity, clinical quality and outcomes , value-based care initiatives, etc.
Assess practice operations on a regular basis, offering strategic and tactical advice with clear objectives and expectations
Coach and mentor practice staff and managers, as appropriate
Assist in the development and coordination of market-level physician meetings, once a market has reached critical density
Implementation
Provide onsite support throughout practice's implementation period, continuing to be the main point of contact post-implementation
Create an implementation playbook that's scalable across national platform
Train physician practices, including physicians and staff, on our tech stack, including Athena EMR. Serve as the platform expert for the practices and be the first line of support for questions and issues as they arise.
Provide project management, training, and support throughout the implementation and go-live of physician practices on our electronic medical record
Use project management tools and processes effectively to track and concisely report out progress updates to leadership team on a regular basis
Manage and coordinate relationships with external vendors, as necessary

What You'll need
5-7 years of professional healthcare experience, preferably in a provider setting
Prior experience with EMR implementations, Athena-preferred but open to all EMRs
Prior experience with physician practices and practice management
Ability to understand and translate complex strategic and operational tactics into digestible action plans and reports
Prior experience delivering data and analyses to clinicians
Excellent communication skills, preferably with a physician-level audience
Excellent customer service attitude
Prior experience with project management
Ability to be a generalist and assist across a variety of job functions
Willingness to travel in-market up to 60%-80%, flexible for domestic travel up to 30%
You will work out of one of the following locations:The role is remote but there is a strong preference for candidates who live and reside in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
