Hudson Hospital & Clinic is Hiring a Security Officer Near Hudson, WI

Job DescriptionHudson Hospital & Clinic has an opportunity for a Safety & Security Officer to join our team as a Casual employee. This position is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff of Hudson Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols (public areas, stairwells, conference rooms, bathrooms, waiting rooms), responds to emergent needs of the organization and its occupants (fire alarms, disaster alerts, urgent requests) and also provides response to routine requests of all departments (safety escorts, unlocks and lock ups) and providing appropriate customer service to all staff, patients and visitors. The Security Officer investigates incidents, responds to resolve matters that threaten the safety of staff, visitors and patients and completes appropriate reports and documentation within the scheduled shift.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years previous experience working in:
    • Security, law enforcement, or public safety
    • Customer service
    • Military service
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 or 4 year degree in Security/Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice/Social science or human services related field: or, currently in a related degree program.
