ob Title: MEP-Execution Engineer (Exp_ 10-12 yrs)

Job Summary:

The MEP Execution Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the on-site execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. They serve as the primary liaison between the project team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the efficient and accurate installation of MEP systems in accordance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities: -

Project Execution and Coordination:

Review and thoroughly understand MEP design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to develop detailed execution plans and schedules for MEP installations.

Oversee and monitor the on-site execution of MEP work, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Identify and resolve potential conflicts or clashes between MEP systems and other disciplines (structural, architectural, etc.) during execution.

Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP work with the overall project schedule and timeline.

Field Supervision and Quality Control:

Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs to monitor the progress and quality of MEP installations.

Identify and document any non-conformances or deficiencies in MEP work, and work with contractors to implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Communication and Coordination:

Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding MEP execution activities.

Attend project meetings and provide updates on MEP execution progress, challenges, and any required changes or modifications.

Collaborate with other disciplines (structural, architectural, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall project design and execution.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of MEP execution activities, including inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.

Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, highlighting any issues, risks, or concerns related to MEP execution.

Ensure that as-built documentation is accurately maintained and updated throughout the execution phase.

Qualifications:

Dip/BE in Mechanical/Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

Proven experience in the execution and on-site coordination of MEP systems in construction projects.

Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP installations.

Strong project management and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with construction site safety practices and protocols.
