SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 0.6 FTE Drama teacher to join the Hudson High School community. Candidates should be able to contribute to a positive environment for student learning and involvement, embracing cultural diversity and multiple perspectives. Hold a strong belief that all students are capable of achieving and is able to provide support and feedback for a wide range of learners. Has a collegial spirit that supports the team model through collaboration and professional growth consistent with the educational goals and philosophies of our school community. Committed to continuous learning, improving, reflecting, and working with students, staff, and families to ensure that all students achieve at high levels. Plans, organizes and presents instruction and instructional environments which help students learn the subject matter and the skills that will contribute to their educational and social development.

Qualifications:
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Hudson School Committee’s policy on evaluation or in accordance with union contract.
WORK YEAR:
While performing duties of this job, the employee may often remain in a stationary position for considerable periods of time. The employee will have ample periods of standing and may be required to traverse throughout the building. The employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and use hand strength to grasp tools. Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., calculator, copy machine, and computer printer). Physical abilities may also include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field. Ability must be able to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20lbs for short periods, and walk up and down stairs several times a day. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff members, and the public in person and on the telephone.
