The Classic Cafe in Providence, RI is looking for one server to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable. The Classic Cafe seeks excellence through inclusiveness. We encourage individuals of all gender identities, races, ethnicities, sexual identities, and socio-economic backgrounds to apply. This is the perfect job for someone wanting a little more balance and free time in the evenings as we are only open until 3pm. This position does require full weekend availability and is part-time (4 days a week) with the possibility of more hours as people have vacations this summer.
Responsibilities
- *Setting the table *Presenting the menu and helping customers select food *Delivering food to tables *Delivering a great customer experience *Clearing and cleaning tables *Resetting and restocking everything for the next day *Weekend availability is required
Qualifications
- *Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Ability to multitask efficiently *Strong organizational skills *Experience as a Server, Waitstaff or Customer Service a plus
