Human Capital Solutions is Hiring a Wealth Management Advisor Near Wilmington, NC

Position Summary:

Our client, an investment advisory company, is hiring a Wealth Advisor to join as an integral part of their team. The ideal candidate desires to work in a team environment, has a proven track record of success in managing client relationships, comfortable with more complex cases as well as clients with more basic needs. They are a great communicator, organized, enthusiastic, and a self-starter. The Wealth Advisor will primarily be responsible for providing ongoing client relationship management for a suite of comprehensive financial planning services, including retirement income planning, investment advice, insurance assessment, retirement plan consulting (business owners) and estate planning for existing and new clients already flowing to the firm. Secondarily, the role involves developing new client relationships for the team, working with the team internally on portfolio management decisions and documentation, ERISA plan management and presentations for corporate clients, compliance coordination and general practice managment.

Absolute Minimum Must Have’s / Experience / Requirements:

Industry/ Discipline Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in financial planning or a related field with $50M assets under management
  • Certified Financial Planner certification preferred.
  • Series 7 & 66 Licenses required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required (Business or Math)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to analyze, research, recommend, and execute tailored financial solutions in conjunction with a Senior Advisor.
  • Spearhead the strategic development of financial plans; consistently monitor clients’ financial status with meticulous attention to detail, while also focusing on broader strategic financial objectives.
  • Liaise with clients’ legal and accounting professionals, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills by confidently delivering advice to clients via conference calls or video meetings, emphasizing effective verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Uphold impeccable ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality in all client interactions.
  • Facilitate and oversee communication with new or existing clients in a timely and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to address and resolve client inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the firm's infrastructure by developing workflows, instructional materials, and other resources.
  • Oversee the management of email drip campaigns, delivering quarterly value-added content to clients through a combination of personalized and partner-generated materials.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive cash flow plans and collaborate with the team to present plans and recommendations to clients.
  • Engage directly with clients on various planning topics, including tax strategies, insurance needs, retirement planning, and cash flow management.
  • Support the team in maintaining and nurturing client relationships by updating client planning information, proactively reaching out to clients, and providing comprehensive recommendations based on evolving needs.
  • Participate in additional projects and tasks as required to support team objectives.
  • Assist in Investment Analysis and management decisions; implementation of said decisions across the firm
