Summary
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor at the Minnie Street Family Resource Center (MSFRC), the Family Support Advocate (FSA) is part of the collaborative within the Families and Communities Together (FaCT) grant. The FSA is responsible for providing comprehensive case management and family advocacy services to Human Options’ clients who may or may not have experienced domestic violence. The FSA is responsible for screening clients, ensuring participants access services, follow up with participants, as needed, complete pre and post assessment tools, perform home visits as needed, participate in outreach events, work closely with internal and community partners in other Social Services Agencies, and prepare and submit data and reports as required by grants.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prospective employees must pass a background screening to the satisfaction of the agency prior to placement. Since background screenings take time to complete, applicants are encouraged to apply early.
