This role will be responsible for leading the Individual Dental and Vision Digital sales experience, focusing on helping customers understand their options and find the right plan for them, by finding value creating opportunities and driving innovative and sustainable product solutions through technology. S/he will champion a startup mindset and promote agile ways of working to design, develop and deliver differentiated experiences for our customers.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, product-oriented team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. S/he must be a strong communicator, comfortable working with internal stakeholders of all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product vision, product strategy, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), roadmaps, requirements and execution
- Utilize product management processes and tools such as: user research and concept testing, opportunity sizing and business case development, product blueprints, test and learn to de-risk barriers to scale.
- Refine the backlog and make prioritization decisions across competing priorities. Display ability to balance and present tradeoffs between business objectives and customer needs. Successfully work with customer and internal stakeholders to understand pain points and workflow issues with existing live product features. Proactively work to mitigate risk
- Leverage a design-thinking approach to developing product requirements, including partnering with research, UX, marketing, engineering, technology, and other team members to deeply understand customer needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business partners and customer needs
- Iteratively and consistently work to improve our products and programs by looking for new ways to deliver value to our customers
- Implement agile and lean methodologies to rapidly learn and iterate product concepts to create sticky user experiences and to consistently assess value and “fail faster”
- Define success for each phase of the product lifecycle from initial feasibly phase to fully scaled solution. Define Key Performance Indicators per phase and path to incremental value and continuous optimization. Drive product success metrics including market adoption, customer satisfaction, and utilization
- Monitor efficacy of products and use customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Partner with technology to influence end state architecture that drive secure, resilient and scalable technology solutions
- Serve as a leader on the Humana.com Acquisition product portfolio team. Coach and mentor junior product managers to grow their product skills and abilities. Proactively contribute to team culture and help drive cross team strategic initiatives and best practices.

Role Essentials
- 6 years of agile product management experience, preferably with health insurance products
- 6 years of experience translating strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery
- Deep expertise in one or more areas (sales, marketing, design thinking, human centered design, agile product development) with a broad set of complementary capabilities
- Experience with Content Management, A/B testing and digital acquisition tools
- Collaborative and goal-focused
- High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills, with the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with all organizational levels, including senior and executive level audiences
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organization
- Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment; be nimble and adaptable, handle ambiguity
- Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$123,800 - $170,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
