The Senior Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, andwork is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to define features with a roadmap aligned to business objectives
Define and ruthlessly prioritize features based on customer research, business goals, and data driven analysis
Constantly fine tune their understanding of the customer and customer experience through interviews and VOC analysis
Be a productsubject matter expert and advocate for strategic thinking—emphasizing iterative, goal-oriented approaches to problems when partnering with business owners
Work with our engineering teams to appropriately scope prioritized work
Drive product development through QA and launch, personally owning and checking for the quality of the product they ship
Monitor feature performance and impact to company KPIs, and gather insights to further iterate on features
Advocate for their teams progress and delivered feature outcomes across the business

The ideal candidate will have the ability to navigate through disruptive technologies, new competitors, and fast-changing customer expectations to create a product strategy that is backed by data and consumer needs.
Value Determination and Prioritization: Candidates must have excellent skills assessing value and understanding feasibility to determine how to sequence the product roadmap. This includes prioritization at multiple altitudes including epic, feature and story roadmaps and backlogs.

Candidates will be consumer-obsessed and driven to have proven solutions to consumer problems before adding work to the product roadmap.
Data Obsessed: Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of how users leverage products and determine optimization opportunities. Candidates must demonstrate advanced skill reading and interpreting multiple product analytics sets to improve digital product performance.
Communication: Candidates must be able to inform and influence across multiple audiences through clear, concise materials that create shared understanding of the requirements, contribution/performance, and importance of the digital work. Demonstrating these skills involves conveying information in a simple, easy to understand manner without losing the core message.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with Healthcare Product solutions
3 years of Agile product owner or product management experience, preferably with health insurance products
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery
Strong intuition about user experience and what makes a product experience great
High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and team-building skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with healthcare and/or insurance products
SCRUM Product Owner Certification
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification
