HumanGood is Hiring a Billing Coordinator- Senior Living Near Seattle, WA

This position is responsible for the accurate, timely filing, collection and management of all private pay billing.
Wage range: $25.00 to $36.00; DOE
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a skilled nursing setting overseeing tasks such as:
  • Ensure accurate and timely private pay billing for all care levels.
  • Maintain accurate private pay census.
  • All ancillary charge entry
  • Statement generation
  • Payment processing includes automated withdrawal and lockbox processing.
  • Monitoring and collections of receivables
  • Respond to all resident account queries.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation/collection notes for monthly accounts receivable reviews.
  • Collect and record private pay payments and deposits as needed.
  • Review Medicaid and SSI balances periodically to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Set up and maintain resident trust accounts as required.
  • Maintain documentation to support third party claims submission and collections in accordance with defined policies in support of corporate 3rd party billing specialist.
  • Identify, document, and communicate best practices and process improvement opportunities to manager.
  • Prepare documentation for approval of private pay refunds and bad debt write offs.
  • Maintain ongoing metrics for manager, to provide continual self-assessment of performance and identification of process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide additional assistance and support as needed in the revenue cycle function.
This position will be in-person at our location in Des Moines, WA.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience handling complex billing and collection issues.
  • Healthcare/Skilled Nursing Billing a big plus!
