Position Title: Billing Contract Coordinator 

Location: Lynchburg, Hybrid 

Benefits:

  • Salary Range:$21.00-$24.25

Success In This Role Looks Like:

  • Interpret and apply contract terms and conditions to ensure accurate billing procedures.
  • Monitor program budgets and contract expenditures, coordinating closely with Program Managers to optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly Contract Expenditure/Management Reports.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all payments and manage contract-related change requests.
  • Develop and maintain detailed billing documents and spreadsheets for precise cost allocation.
  • Create and communicate financial reports to support project status, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in billing practices.
  • Oversee contract-related Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract budgets, expenses, and cash receipts using AmpliFund.
  • Provide detailed financial data and reports for contract reporting and audits as required.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent high-level Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Contract management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in database management; experience with Blackbaud FE and AmpliFund is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting processes, General Ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
  • High level of accuracy in calculating, posting, and managing financial records.
