This position is based in Houston, TXEssential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Territory Development
- Develop and grow a sales territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets and expand the customer base
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings to identify needs, demonstrate products and close sales
- Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and in-person visits
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives
- Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
- Sales Process
- Execute a consultative sales process from prospect identification to investigating potential needs
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the value and benefits of the company's offerings
- Negotiate contracts and pricing and ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and support sales efforts
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) software to record all sales activities, manage customer interactions, and generate sales reports
- Experience
- Strong hunter mentality required to open and expand new markets
- 5 years of experience in outside sales, field sales, or related role, preferably in the tech/restaurant industry
- Since this is a field position, you must have reliable transportation (will reimburse for mileage)
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
