Description

A Brief Overview

The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and customer service support in the areas of HR data entry through records management and reporting. Duties are performed under general supervision. The incumbent will provide comprehensive, professional customer service, accurate data entry, information dissemination, scanning and indexing of personnel files and audit functions.What you will do

  • Responsible for reviewing, processing, and entering data into HR system. This includes processing new hires; changes during the employees employment; and terminations.
  • Ensures the timely input of employee changes to ensure accurate payroll and benefits.
  • Works with HR team, people managers to validate each change request is accurate and form is completed correctly.
  • Maintains accurate records of change request approvals.
  • Ensures the highest level of accuracy for data entered into the HRIS system.
  • Audits data entry on a regular basis to review data accuracy.
  • Ensures all personnel record change documents are filed on a timely basis.
  • Completes all employment verification requests. Whether verbal or written.
  • Maintains discretion in matters of confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • 1-3 years Must possess at least 2 years in an office environment Required
  • 1-3 years Must possess at least one year of entering data into or reporting out of a major HR system. Required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all customers ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of any and all information encountered.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to both internal and external customers.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use a variety of software applications as it pertains to any HRIS system.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in-order to ensure correct implementation.
  • Some experience working with spreadsheet and word processing software.
