About the Role: Were on the hunt for a dynamic Director of Manufacturing & Production Operations to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role, you'll oversee all culinary production. If you're passionate about food production, facilities management, and client service, and have a knack for managing large-scale operations with financial acumen, we want to meet you!
Your Mission: Manage food production operations for more than 14 facilities within the hospital, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with culinary teams to execute menus, maintaining consistency and quality across all locations.
Oversee facilities related to food production, including kitchen facilities, equipment, and storage areas, optimizing layout and workflow.
Act as the primary point of contact for client interaction, addressing concerns, planning for future projects, and enhancing service offerings.
What You Bring: Proven experience in large-scale food manufacturing and production, preferably within a healthcare or institutional setting.
Expertise in facilities management, including knowledge of kitchen equipment, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations.
Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Experience working with unionized labor and navigating labor relations dynamics.
Additional Requirements: Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Bonus Points For: Familiarity with the New York market and regulatory environment.
Exceptional client interaction skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
Understanding of menu development and food service operations.
