Responsibilities:

• Use bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software
• Process business transactions, accounts receivable and/or payable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts.
• Posting financial transactions
• Receiving and recording payments 
• Entering debits and credits into software applications and databases accurately
• Producing a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets
• Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
• Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

Qualifications / Skills:

• Developing standards
• Promoting process improvement
• Reporting skills
• Accounting skills 

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Automotive/dealership experience is required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Two to three years experience in an accounting role 
• Proficient with office software
