What’s yours?Position OverviewHunter Douglas is currently seeking a Material Handler for our Salt Lake City, UT facility. Reporting to the Shared Services Supervisor, the material handler plays a key role in maintaining the distribution and flow of materials to various departments. This is a key role that supports the production in our Salt Lake City, UT facility!
SchedulesFirst Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:00pm (Overtime may be required some Fridays and Saturdays as needed)
Second Shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am (Overtime may be required some Fridays and Saturdays as needed)
What You'll Do

• May assist in various tasks such as receiving, material handling/ replenishment/put-away, and shipping areas as needed.
• Utilize systems such as SAP to ensure correct transactions are taking place
• Will be consistently walking, bending, reaching, lifting, using step stools, and overall being active throughout the ten hour shift
• Will safety utilize material handling equipment (sit down lift, standing lift, walkie) to transport material to and from locations including loading docks, trucks, and storage areas
• Will use the RS scanner, computer, radio as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role, warehouse environment
• Ideal candidate will have the ability to work well in a team or individually
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to adapt to changes in priorities
• Ability to lift between 20-75lbs
• Must be comfortable asking for help as needed
• Have excellent communication skills: Read, write, speak English
