PCB Assembler 2-Electronics Heavy Mechanical Assembly

Do you have a passion for assembling products and using hand tools? We’re hiring an Electronic/Cable Assembler II for our company’s electronic assembly plant in Raymond, MS. This is a first shift role, and the hours are 5:45 am-2:15 pm. If you possess:

  • The ability to read MOS drawings and ECOs while also receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
  • Route and lace cables; Attach hardware and seal assembly.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a PCB Assembler II:

What you will do:

  • Read MOS (Bill of Materials), drawings and ECO’s while receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignment,
  • Attach multiple small components, such as sheet metal and machined parts, to mechanical assemblies using hand tools and battery/air powered hand tools,
  • Program and test assemblies to test specifications,
  • Route and lace cables,
  • Route and attach wires and connectors to form circuitry,
  • Replace defective components and wiring,
  • Repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel,
  • Positions parts according to drawings and knowledge of component being assembled,
  • Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure or rulers,
  • Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce
    close fit between parts,
  • Use of a rivet and other machines for force fitting and fastening operations,
  • May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require,
  • Build defect-free products to design specifications,
  • Work in a team or individually to optimize quality and output,
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn and help others,
  • Consistently meet or exceed standard work output requirements,
  • Observe and follow all safety rules,
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 years of cable assembly/electronic assembly experience
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
