Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities:

• Sterile Processing Technician will clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and package surgical instrument trays and sets

Sterile Processing Technician Skills:

• Minimum of three years sterile processing experience
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRSCT) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technian (CSPDT) or a similar active certification
• Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Strong understanding of sterile processing techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of physiology to understand the purpose and function of surgical instruments
• Ability to operate sterilization equipment effectively and safely
