Summary:

Training Specialists are dynamic, high-energy individuals who will facilitate sales, service and soft skills training throughout the Huntington footprint. This position will require occasional travel and a flexible schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts specialized operations, technical and/or sales training for assigned areas or functions of the company.
• Manages classroom preparation, follow-up, and logistics.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of operations, technology, products, policies and procedures as needed to provide effective training.
• Regular day and overnight travel within Huntington’s footprint will be required.
• Communicates with managers and others to identify training needs.
• Supports training needs for corporate initiatives.
• 50-60% Travel within our footprint will be required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High school education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, finance with 1 year of public speaking experience and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in delivery of training programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Propensity to demonstrate an advanced level of professionalism
• Capacity to stand for long periods of time to facilitate content on consecutive days
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly, locally and overnight as well throughout the Huntington footprint as needed
